10 Regional General Council - Hong Kong Umbrella Movement for Democracy

The 3rd ITUC World Congress affirms support for Hong Kong workers in their fight for democracy and human rights, and their urging of Hong Kong to take all necessary measures to implement universal and equal suffrage in conformity with the ICCPR. The Council also fully supports the HKCTU and the Umbrella Movement for Democracy and calls on all parties to engage in peaceful dialogue to achieve a continuing resolution to the issues.
