This study analyses the policy responses of governments in Asia-Pacific to the Covid-19 crisis and their level of alignment with the 2030 Agenda and Sustainable Development Goal 8, in particular.
The report is structured in three parts: 1) regional assessment of the socio-economic impact of Covid-19 and an outline of recovery policies in relation to Goal 8; 2) an in-depth analysis of the situation in two case countries: Nepal and Pakistan; and 3) a series of recommendations to governments and international donors.
