Strengthening partnership between ITUC-Asia Pacific and ADB for a just transition towards a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific

This document presents the policy recommendations of the ITUC-Asia Pacific to the Asian Development Bank (ADB), aimed at deepening their collaboration to promote a just, inclusive, and sustainable transition in Asia and the Pacific. Highlighting ADB’s commitments under Strategy 2030 and the new Environmental and Social Framework, ITUC-Asia Pacific urges strengthened social dialogue, labour rights protections, and equitable climate and digital transitions. The document concludes with concrete proposals to institutionalise the partnership between ITUC-AP and ADB, including formal consultations and joint programmes.
