In a pivotal high-level dialogue at the State Palace in Jakarta, ITUC-Asia Pacific General Secretary, Shoya Yoshida, and ITUC General Secretary, Luc Triangle, have urged the President of Indonesia, His Excellency Prabowo Subianto to strengthen workers’ rights and labour protections in the ongoing review of labour legislations in the country.

ITUC-Asia Pacific, together with its affiliate, the Konfederasaun Sindikatu Timor Leste (KSTL), met with the Government of Timor-Leste to reinforce the role of social dialogue in shaping inclusive development.
